virtual reality and trade
The heart of trade is connecting people to trade products and services. Virtual reality is becoming an efficient way to do just that. Some professions that connect people for commerce are being eroded by internet systems which make those connections faster, with more complete information, and at lower cost. Some tasks done by stock brokers, travel agents, realtors, hotel chains, traditional dating services, and others are now done via the internet. The human element will never be totally replaced. In fact, some professionals are adapting and taking advantage of the new features of the world wide web rather than letting it erode their profession. Sub-page DIGITAL QUTIES covers more information.
A required but not sufficient characteristic of virtual reality is causal-chain human-computer interface. Communication from a human to a computer may have computer tracking of finger, hand, head, eye and/or body movement and/or speech recognition. Computer-to-human communication may have multi-dimensional image projections, sound generation, and haptic (touch and motion) simulation.
